Sérgio Rodrigo is the winner of Premio Novaro 2018

Brazilian composer Sérgio Rodrigo is the winner of Premio Novaro 2018. Sunday December 9 in Rome, after the performance of the three finalist compositions at Quirinale by Ensemble 900 of Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the jury composed by Ennio Morricone (president), Claudio Ambrosini, Francesco Antonioni, Michele dall'Ongaro and Günter Neuhold awarded the "Michele Novaro" prize to the composition "Human Machines" by Sérgio Rodrigo. The "Goffredo Mameli" special prize has been given to Giorgio Francesco Dalla Villa for his composition "Gugliel-motel". As suggested by Maestro Ennio Morricone, the artistic direction of Concorso Novaro gave a special award (a scolarship of 1.000 euros) to the other finalist, Carlo Maria Griguoli.
